Pricing depends on the selected Base, requested customization, ingredients, packaging, order volume, and other project requirements. Ally Labs does not charge a separate standard development fee for qualified manufacturing projects. Unusual raw-material, third-party testing, regulatory, documentation, or other project-specific costs are discussed and approved in advance when applicable. Production pricing is quoted based on the final project scope.

A Pre-Stabilized Base begins with an established formulation foundation developed by Ally Labs, while New Product Development begins with a new product concept and custom formulation work. The right pathway depends on the starting point, degree of customization, and needs of the project. Both pathways still move through appropriate review, testing, packaging, scale-up, and production-readiness steps.

Beginning from a Base may reduce early formulation work and help a project move into sampling sooner, depending on the selected Base and requested changes. Once the formula is approved, required testing is addressed, materials and packaging are confirmed or on-site, and the project is production-ready, typical production lead time is approximately six to eight weeks. Actual timing varies by project and production scheduling.

Depending on the selected Base, supported customization may include fragrance, featured ingredients, sensory profile, positioning, and packaging. Requested changes are reviewed for compatibility and may require additional testing before production.

Ally Labs retains ownership of its internal base formulas. Rights and ownership terms applicable to a customized formulation are governed by the applicable manufacturing agreement and should be confirmed during project scoping. These are not white-label finished products; the selected Base serves as a starting point for supported brand-specific customization.

Our formulation team reviews compatibility with the existing base structure before any new ingredient is added, and organic positioning or certification stays specific to the individual formula and program rather than applying across a category.
